Indian River Lagoon Project is a unaffiliated community portal and information clearinghouse publishing Indian River Lagoon National Estuary news, events, articles, and multimedia for Florida's East Coast communities.
Indian River Lagoon Project, owned and operated by a private entity, is published as a free service to the local community. Indian River Lagoon Project is not a commercial venture. There are no advertisements or donate buttons here.
Community Portal
The Indian River Lagoon Project is a community portal where anyone can share pictures, videos, events, news, and opinions. It's easy to post, edit, and update content contributions. In many site sections publishing content is as simple as gathering the needed information, and putting it in a form.
Please create an account to take advantage of member-only features, such as personal profiles and pages, discussion forums, site preferences, and most importantly, the ability to publish informative content.
Photographers, Videographers, Writers, Graphic Artists, Web Design Artists, and Mediawiki Coders are especially invited to showcase their skills here.
Commercial advertisement and promotional content is not allowed. Business and Non-Profit Organizations are invited to sign up, customize their user page, and start publishing informative content to the community portal. Every post includes links to your profile page and web links, so your online presence will grow with each content contribution.

By it's nature, Indian River Lagoon Project will always be a work in progress. Main Category is the top level of the site. Currently there are 4 main subsections: Estuary, Guide, Community and Portal. Directory displays the site's content by topic. IRL Project Sitemap displays all categories and content pages on the portal.
The site is organized in a category/subcategories structure. This menu tree displays the subcategories under the "Main" category.
The site's pages have prefixes that describe the information a page contains.
