Indian River Lagoon Organizations
Spread across 40% of Florida's East Coast, the Indian River Lagoon National Estuary is currently governed, managed, preserved and restored by:
- Federal, State, County and Municipal governments,
- State and Federal Water Management Districts
- State and Federal Environmental Protection Agencies
- State Fish & Wildlife Conservation Commission
- State Council for the National Estuary
- Inlet Districts and Port Authorities
- U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service
- U.S. National Park Service
- U.S. Army Corps of Engineers
- U.S. Air Force and Space Force Commands
- and a U.S. Space Agency.
