Family Fun Day at the Brevard County Barrier Island Center on February 15, 2020 10AM - 4PM
Guest speakers, ocean inspired artists, guided hikes, beach scavenger hunt, environmental/marine life exhibitors, art raffle to benefit sea turtles, sharing table, beach craft making with local artists, food trucks & more!


Parking will be available at Chapel-by-the-Sea with a shuttle van running all day. Be sure to bring your beach combing cabinet curiosities to identify and display for a chance to win beach chic prizes.


The Barrier Island Center is an environmental education facility managed and funded through the Brevard County Environmentally Endangered Lands Program, a division of the Parks & Recreation Department, in partnership with the Caribbean Conservation Corporation. The Barrier Island Center is located on the east coast of Florida south of Melbourne Beach and adjacent to the globally significant sea turtle nesting beaches of the Archie Carr Refuge.
