Indian River Lagoon Dictionary is an online multimedia reference source that uses text, audio-video, and images to define Indian River Lagoon objects and terms. The virtual dictionary was compiled to apply specifically to the Indian River Lagoon National Estuary and it's local demographic.

Glossary of Terms

The Indian River Lagoon Glossary contains words, definitions, and abbreviations commonly found in IRL terminology. A word definition page displays the term, definition, pronunciation, synonyms, example sentence, related articles, and reference source links. Some word definition pages also display images, graphics, videos and extended text. When possible, local IRL examples are used help to define the term.

Reference Link Directory is a list of source materials cited in the Indian River Lagoon Project, including databases, documents, images, maps, videos and web links from the conservation, ecology, education, government, research, and science institutions that study the Indian River Lagoon.

Digital Media Center contains links to rich media archives, image galleries, interactive tools, maps, news feeds, podcasts and videos used on the Indian River Lagoon Project website.
