About the Indian River Lagoon Project
The Indian River Lagoon Project is an information clearinghouse that archives informative content about the restoration, preservation, and administration of the Indian River Lagoon National Estuary.
Indian River Lagoon Project and indianriverlagoonnews.org, are owned and operated by a private entity as a free service to the Indian River Lagoon community. Indian River Lagoon Project is not a commercial venture, we do not sell anything and there are no advertisements here. Indian River Lagoon Project is also not a Non-Profit Organization, we do not ask for monetary contributions and there is not a single Donate button on this site.
If you would like to contribute to this effort please sign up and start uploading. In many of the site's sections, posting content is as simple as gathering the requested information and pasting it into a form. It's easy to post, edit and update pictures, videos, web links, and essays. Please create an account to take advantage of member only features, such as profiles, personal pages, discussion pages, site preferences and most importantly, the ability to publish informative content.
Commercial advertisement and promotional content is not allowed here. Organizations are welcome to sign up, customize their profile page, and publish educational content that includes their user page and website links in the footnotes. Organizations may increase their presence on this site by contributing more educational content.
Photographers, Videographers, Writers, Proofreaders, Graphic Artists, Web Design Artists and Mediawiki Skinner/Coders are invited to show off their skills here.
Most of the text on this site is composed without a spell checker and is written by someone (me) with less than perfect grammar. Please feel free to sign up and correct any egregious errors you may find.
