Office of Wetlands, Oceans and Watersheds (OWOW) works to protect America's freshwater, estuarine, coastal and ocean ecosystems, including watersheds and wetlands. OWOW regulates and monitors ocean dumping and vessel discharges, and reduces aquatic trash and marine debris. OWOW protects water quality and habitats in 28 estuaries around the nation. OWOW controls polluted runoff and restores impaired waters.
