Bottlenose Dolphin in the Indian River Lagoon.

Bottlenose dolphin (Tursiops_truncatus) have a long lifespan and frequently travel throughout the Atlantic Coast. Dolphin 56, a loner, was tagged in Florida in 1979 and has been spotted numerous times on Atlantic Coast, from the southern Indian River Lagoon to as far north as the New England area.[1]
