Text_Body | National Park Service News Release Release Date: March 18, 2020 Contact: Laura_Henning@nps.gov Canaveral National Seashore is Closing to Implement Latest Health Guidance Titusville/New Smyrna Beach– Canaveral National Seashore is announcing it will cease operations to implement the latest guidance from the White House, Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC), and local and state authorities to promote social distancing. All access to the beaches within Canaveral National Seashore will be closed to the public. This step is also in accordance with Brevard County that will close public parking and beachside parks.
