Come out and join the Canaveral National Seashore and Parks Project for this LOVELY event! Show your park some love this Valentine’s weekend by participating in a beach cleanup.

Meet at parking area # 1, Playalinda Beach, to sign-up and then depart to various beach areas. Trash bags and gloves provided.

❤️ LOVE YOUR BEACH CLEAN-UP:

Canaveral National Seashore

WHEN: SATURDAY, February 15th – 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM (2 hours)

WHERE: "SD Playalinda Lot #1, florida" ( Google Maps )

-Drive up to the Playalinda Beach entrance of the Canaveral Nat. Seashore and mention the event at the gate for FREE entry!

WHO: Interpretive Ranger Ashley Lord, will lead us in showing some love this Valentine’s Day weekend by walking our amazing seashore and snagging as much debris as we can to keep our beaches clean and safe!

MEET: Parking area # 1 (see "Where" above) to sign-up/waiver and then depart to various beach areas with some awesome people from your community.

Free parking is available for all volunteers.

Volunteers: We suggest you show up in close toe shoes, t-shirt/long sleeve, and a light jacket to ward off any potential wind; you can strip it off once the sun heats up and tie it around your neck like a cape! Please bring your own sun block or lather up at home before the event. BYOB (Bring your own bottle)for water.

-The park will supply a large canteen of cold water for re-fills, but this event is a waste free event, lets not bring trash with us!
