Brevard County Boating and Waterways begins removing 40 - 50 derelict boats from the Indian River Lagoon. (1) · Florida Power & Light Company (FPL) officials today announced the company has allocated more than $700,000 over the next three years to support manatee rescue and rehabilitation, as well as habitat restoration. (1) · The Saint Johns River Water Management District will now allow all Florida water management districts and the FDEP to rapidly access the BlueGreen algicide treatment when critical harmful algal blooms (HAB) are present.
