(1) · Saint Johns River Water Management District Governing Board has approved over $10 million for Indian River lagoon septic to sewer conversion projects. (1) · The primary ecological goal of the proposed KSC Mitigation Bank is to improve fish and wildlife habitat and improve the overall integrity of ecological communities within Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge and the Indian River Lagoon watershed. (1) · The projects will help collect and treat stormwater runoff to reduce the amount of pollutants and nutrients that enter the Indian River Lagoon. (1)
